West Holmes High School will welcome back all West Holmes alumni on Friday night, as we celebrate our 2015 Homecoming ceremony at the stadium. Gates will open at 5:15, with homecoming festivities to begin at 6:30 on the track. This year’s court consists of: Charlotte Brown, Kaylee Watkins, Dorita Phillips, Toren Hoffee, Kaitlyn Girouard, Alexis Hutchison and Brittney Masters. Charlotte is the freshman attendant and is the daughter of Kevin and Michelle Brown. She plays both soccer and basketball here at West Holmes and is also involved in the choir. Kaylee will be representing the sophomore class and is the daughter of Jennifer Immel and Bobby Watkins Jr. She is one of our JV cheerleaders and is also involved in the choir and is active with her youth group at Nashville Church of Christ. Dorita is this year’s junior attendant. She is the daughter of Mike and Maria Phillips. She is a member of the tennis team, is an active member of the choir and plays percussion in the concert, marching and pep bands here. Toren Hoffee will be representing the Career Center in this year’s ceremony and lives with her parents Robert and Kelly Hoffee in Millersburg. Toren is involved in the youth group at Millersburg Christian Church and is currently pursing her education in the auto body program at the career center. The first queen candidate this year is Kaitlyn Girouard. She is the daughter of Sara and Lee Nicholson and is an active member of the marching and pep bands here. Alexis Hutchison resides in Lakeville with her parents Niki and Mike Hutchison. She is a member of the yearbook staff, student council and is on this year’s prom committee as well. The third queen candidate this year is Brittney Masters. Brittney is an accomplished baton twirler and has been competing for the past 13 years. She has been a majorette on the line here for the past 4 seasons and is also this year’s feature twirler. Congratulations to all of our court members and good luck to our queen candidates,as they will be crowned Friday night. Unfortunately, last year’s queen, Alex Brown, will be unable to attend this year’s ceremony due to a conflict with her collegiate soccer schedule. We will miss you Alex!
