Kaylin Martin is a four-year varsity track athlete for the Lady Knights. Early in her track career Kaylin made a solid impact on the girls track team. In her sophomore year she received banquet awards for Most Sprint Points, Most Overall Points, and the Girls Track Knights Award. During her junior banquet Kaylin was given the Best Jumper and Best Sprinter awards. In the spring of 2019 she placed ninth at The Ohio State Track and Field Championships in the Long Jump. Kaylin’s best Jump of 17’ 1½” puts her in second place of the all-time best jumpers in school history. She received an Eastern District All-Star award in the Long Jump in 2019 and became an All Ohio Academic Student Athlete. She was also an All Ohioan Long Jumper in the Indoor State Championship this past winter. Kaylin will be attending Ashland University in the fall to study Hospitality Management and run track.
